I've already built twenty website designs. Pick whichever one you like — it doesn't have to match your industry, I put your name, your services and your photos into it either way. Then it goes live on your own address.
I'm Jon. I've run Pittsburgh IT since 2020, and I spent about fifteen years before that fixing and running technology for other people — twenty years in the field all told.
The website side is newer for me. I've got the design work — what I don't have yet is a wall of local businesses I've built for. That's the only thing missing, and it's not something I can buy.
So I'm doing twenty of these at cost to fix it. The expensive part — designing the thing — is already done; I built the twenty designs before I ever spoke to you. What's left is putting your real information into the one you pick and turning it on.
What I'd like back is an honest Google review once it's live, and your OK to show your site as an example of my work. That's the whole trade. If the site's no good, say so in the review — I'd rather know.
I'd rather be blunt about this up front than have you find out in month three.
Need something changed later? Tell me what you want changed and I'll quote you a price before I touch anything. You say yes or no. Nothing is billed by the hour, and nothing starts until you've agreed to the number. If you get to where you want a bigger site with changes included every month, I have a plan for that and you can move up whenever you like.
Look through the twenty and tell me which one you want. Any of them, whatever your business is — first come, and once it's taken it's gone.
Logo if you have one, your services, your hours, and three or four photos of your actual work.
Your information replaces the sample text, usually in a day or two. You look it over and tell me what's wrong before anyone else sees it.
On your own web address. Your first payment starts then — not before, and not if you decide against it.
There isn't one, it's just cheap. The design was already built before I ever contacted you — that's the part that normally costs thousands, and it's done. You're paying for hosting and the lead responder, and I'm getting a local business I can point to. That's the trade, and I'd rather say it plainly than dress it up.
The domain is yours from day one, registered in your name. The website itself works like equipment on a payment plan — it's mine while you're paying it off, and it becomes yours once your plan is paid in full and the one-time $100 offboarding fee is settled. At that point the design, the content and the files are all yours and you can host them anywhere. Your logo, your photos, your words and every lead the site brings you are yours the whole time, without exception.
Yes, and I'd rather you hear it here than find it later. There's a one-time $100 offboarding fee if you decide to move on. Your monthly covers keeping your site running — it doesn't cover taking it apart. The fee covers pulling the site off my platform, packaging your files, exporting your leads and releasing your domain to you. Nothing else is charged on the way out.
One thing: a small line in the footer that reads “Website & forms by Pittsburgh IT.” It stays on the site permanently, including after the site becomes yours. That credit is part of how a free build pays for itself, and it's the only string attached.
No — and I'd rather tell you that now than bury it. Twelve months is the minimum. Here's the honest reason: I'm giving away the build. If you left at month three I'd have done all the work for seventy-five dollars, and I couldn't afford to offer this to anyone. The twelve months is the thing that makes a free website possible. If that doesn't work for you, I completely understand, and no hard feelings.
You go month to month and can stop whenever you want. The price doesn't change — it stays $25 for as long as you're with me. You're one of the first twenty, so you're locked in. It goes up for people who come later, not for you.
No. Pick whichever one you like. Nothing on them is locked to a trade — if you run a cleaning company and you like the look of the bakery one, take the bakery one. Once your name, your services and your photos are in it, it's your business's site. Have a look through all twenty and pick your favorite.
No. Each design goes to one business and then it's off the table. Twenty designs, twenty businesses — that's the whole reason I'm only doing twenty. If the one you want has already been claimed I'll tell you, and you can pick another.
Then I'll say so honestly. Some businesses need one built from the ground up, and that's a different job at a different price. I'd rather point you there than jam you into a design that's wrong for you.
Yes, and that makes it easier. I'll point it at the new site. If you don't have one, I'll get you one — registered in your name, not mine.
I'm not going to promise you that, because nobody honest can. What I can tell you is that having a real website on your own domain is the thing that makes it possible to show up at all — a Facebook page by itself mostly can't. Where you land after that depends on your competition, your reviews, and time.
Call the number at the top and I'll answer — that's my phone, not a call center. My business is Pittsburgh IT, I've been at it since 2020, and you can find me at pgh-it.com. If you'd rather sit down in person, I'll come to you.
Then don't take it. Nothing's owed until the site goes live, and it doesn't go live until you've looked at it and said yes.
Look through the twenty, tell me which one you want, and send me your services and hours. I can usually have you live inside a week.
