Twenty spots · Pittsburgh only

Your own website.
Twenty-five a month.

I've already built twenty website designs. Pick whichever one you like — it doesn't have to match your industry, I put your name, your services and your photos into it either way. Then it goes live on your own address.

$25/mo
That's it — $25 is the whole monthly cost. No setup fee, no build cost. The only other charge that exists is a one-time $100 offboarding fee if you ever leave, and it's written into the agreement below so it can't surprise you.
Each design goes to one business only — twenty designs, twenty businesses, so nobody else ends up with your site.
Twelve months minimum — that part isn't flexible, and I explain why below. After the first year you're month to month — and the $25 never goes up, for as long as you stay.

Why it's this cheap

I'm Jon. I've run Pittsburgh IT since 2020, and I spent about fifteen years before that fixing and running technology for other people — twenty years in the field all told.

The website side is newer for me. I've got the design work — what I don't have yet is a wall of local businesses I've built for. That's the only thing missing, and it's not something I can buy.

So I'm doing twenty of these at cost to fix it. The expensive part — designing the thing — is already done; I built the twenty designs before I ever spoke to you. What's left is putting your real information into the one you pick and turning it on.

What I'd like back is an honest Google review once it's live, and your OK to show your site as an example of my work. That's the whole trade. If the site's no good, say so in the review — I'd rather know.

What you get, and what you don't

I'd rather be blunt about this up front than have you find out in month three.

Included every month
  • Your site, live on your own domain. Not a page on my website — your own address, yours to keep.
  • Hosting. Fast, and it doesn't go down. No separate bill from anybody.
  • Monitoring. I get told the moment your site stops working, so I usually know before you do.
  • A working contact form. Which sounds boring until you learn how many don't.
  • Front Desk. When someone contacts you, they get a real answer within seconds and you get a text with their name and number. The business that answers first is usually the one that gets hired.
  • Security and updates on the site itself, handled quietly in the background.
Not included
  • Changes to the site. This price builds it and keeps it running — it doesn't cover rewriting it later.
  • New pages. It's a single page. A good one, but one.
  • Redesigns. You're getting the design as it is. That's why it costs what it costs.
  • Writing your content or shooting photos. You send me what you've got and I'll make it look right.

Need something changed later? Tell me what you want changed and I'll quote you a price before I touch anything. You say yes or no. Nothing is billed by the hour, and nothing starts until you've agreed to the number. If you get to where you want a bigger site with changes included every month, I have a plan for that and you can move up whenever you like.

How it goes

1
You pick a design

Look through the twenty and tell me which one you want. Any of them, whatever your business is — first come, and once it's taken it's gone.

2
You send me your details

Logo if you have one, your services, your hours, and three or four photos of your actual work.

3
I build it out

Your information replaces the sample text, usually in a day or two. You look it over and tell me what's wrong before anyone else sees it.

4
It goes live

On your own web address. Your first payment starts then — not before, and not if you decide against it.

Questions people ask

What's the catch?

There isn't one, it's just cheap. The design was already built before I ever contacted you — that's the part that normally costs thousands, and it's done. You're paying for hosting and the lead responder, and I'm getting a local business I can point to. That's the trade, and I'd rather say it plainly than dress it up.

Do I own it?

The domain is yours from day one, registered in your name. The website itself works like equipment on a payment plan — it's mine while you're paying it off, and it becomes yours once your plan is paid in full and the one-time $100 offboarding fee is settled. At that point the design, the content and the files are all yours and you can host them anywhere. Your logo, your photos, your words and every lead the site brings you are yours the whole time, without exception.

Is there a fee to leave?

Yes, and I'd rather you hear it here than find it later. There's a one-time $100 offboarding fee if you decide to move on. Your monthly covers keeping your site running — it doesn't cover taking it apart. The fee covers pulling the site off my platform, packaging your files, exporting your leads and releasing your domain to you. Nothing else is charged on the way out.

Is there anything on the site that has to stay?

One thing: a small line in the footer that reads “Website & forms by Pittsburgh IT.” It stays on the site permanently, including after the site becomes yours. That credit is part of how a free build pays for itself, and it's the only string attached.

Can I cancel after a couple of months?

No — and I'd rather tell you that now than bury it. Twelve months is the minimum. Here's the honest reason: I'm giving away the build. If you left at month three I'd have done all the work for seventy-five dollars, and I couldn't afford to offer this to anyone. The twelve months is the thing that makes a free website possible. If that doesn't work for you, I completely understand, and no hard feelings.

What happens after the twelve months?

You go month to month and can stop whenever you want. The price doesn't change — it stays $25 for as long as you're with me. You're one of the first twenty, so you're locked in. It goes up for people who come later, not for you.

Do I have to take the design made for my industry?

No. Pick whichever one you like. Nothing on them is locked to a trade — if you run a cleaning company and you like the look of the bakery one, take the bakery one. Once your name, your services and your photos are in it, it's your business's site. Have a look through all twenty and pick your favorite.

Will someone else end up with the same website?

No. Each design goes to one business and then it's off the table. Twenty designs, twenty businesses — that's the whole reason I'm only doing twenty. If the one you want has already been claimed I'll tell you, and you can pick another.

What if none of the twenty work for me?

Then I'll say so honestly. Some businesses need one built from the ground up, and that's a different job at a different price. I'd rather point you there than jam you into a design that's wrong for you.

I already have a domain name. Can I use it?

Yes, and that makes it easier. I'll point it at the new site. If you don't have one, I'll get you one — registered in your name, not mine.

Will this get me to the top of Google?

I'm not going to promise you that, because nobody honest can. What I can tell you is that having a real website on your own domain is the thing that makes it possible to show up at all — a Facebook page by itself mostly can't. Where you land after that depends on your competition, your reviews, and time.

How do I know you're real?

Call the number at the top and I'll answer — that's my phone, not a call center. My business is Pittsburgh IT, I've been at it since 2020, and you can find me at pgh-it.com. If you'd rather sit down in person, I'll come to you.

What if I hate it?

Then don't take it. Nothing's owed until the site goes live, and it doesn't go live until you've looked at it and said yes.

Pick one and let's go.

Look through the twenty, tell me which one you want, and send me your services and hours. I can usually have you live inside a week.
